Abbagoochie History
The mystery surrounding the West Virginia Abbagoochie began in September 1999 and continues to the present day.
For several years, this creature was widely accepted to be only a figment of my father's vivid imagination. It was accepted as being what it was originally intended to be... a hoax, and one of the best in West Virginia history!
However, that all changed on Thanksgiving Day 2008, when Jim Wilson (the father) finally revealed what he understood to be the truth about the Abbagoochies. This disclosure set us on more than a year's worth of intense investigations into the West Virginia Department of Natural Resources (WVDNR) along with those who claimed to have had sightings and/or personal experiences with these creatures.
What we discovered challenged all that we thought we knew about the Abbagoochies, life and yes, even God.
